What should I do to prepare for my tattoo?


The most important thing you can do is to get a good night’s sleep before you come in and eat a good meal an hour or two before your appointment or walk-in. A good meal would consist of foods that are high in protein or carbohydrates; please do not skip meals or just have a snack before getting tattooed. If you want an easy time trying to relax (as much as possible) while getting tattooed; you are going to need the nutrients in your system. Relaxing will help you sit as still as possible during the tattooing process, ensuring you get the best work from your artist.

We will go over the things you can do while you are getting tattooed that make it easier on you, right before we start the tattoo. These things include breathing and mental relaxation techniques.
