Do you do cover-ups?

Answer

Yes. We do phenomenal cover-ups. Cover-ups are custom drawn to fit over your old tattoo and colored and shaded a certain way to hide the old tattoo under the new one. Cover-ups typically need to be done in predominantly opaque colors, like blues, greens, and purples. Translucent colors like red, orange, and yellow should not be used where the new tattoo is covering up the old tattoo, since you will see right through them. A tattoo artist experienced in doing cover-ups can help guide you in making correct choices in imagery and color schemes, subject matter is almost unlimited as long as you allow the tattooist artistic freedom.

When cover-up is done correctly people will look at it and just see a beautiful tattoo, no one will know it’s a cover-up, unless you tell them. Having an experienced artist do your cover-up is extremely important, as there is no covering up a cover-up.
